Bodycote Polymer AB was born on the 1st of January 2000 when Bodycote Materials Testing Group acquired the assets of Studsvik Polymer AB, internationally recognised for lifetime testing and evaluation of polymer components.

Bodycote Polymer is an independent laboratory for the testing and evaluation of the lifetime of plastic materials. The laboratory has more than 4 500 testing positions for hydrostatic pressure testing of plastic pipes. The testing results from the Bodycote Polymer laboratory are accepted in many countries as the laboratory is accredited by SWEDAC according to ISO/IEC 17025. SWEDAC is a member of EA (European Cooperation for Accreditation).

Bodycote Polymer has more than 72 clients in 24 countries. The main markets are Europe, Asia and North America. The clients represent resin producers, manufacturers and end users.
